Journal of Safety and Environment is an academic journal focusing on disciplines of safety and environment. It was established by Beijing Institute of Technology, Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES), and China Occupational Safety & Health Association (COSHA) in 2001. It is a monthly journal and always publishes papers at the end of the even-numbered month in China and abroad. Issue number (ISSN) is 1009-6094 CN 11-4537/X. Dr. Changgen Feng, a professor in BIT, is the editor-in-chief. He was a member of No. 11 and 12 of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and former vice-chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology.
Journal of Safety and Environment is the source journal of the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) Core Database and the Chinese Core Journal.
